WELCOME TO THE FUTURE IS UGLY

An ugly rights movement

Fighting for the rights of the aesthetically challenged in a world obsessed with beauty. Our first mission: revolutionizing Hollywood with ugly representation.

Beauty Is Not Merit

Our movement challenges the unfair advantages given to the conventionally attractive.

The Future is Ugly
Established 2025

The Future is Ugly is dedicated to challenging society's obsession with conventional beauty standards and advocating for the rights of the aesthetically challenged. We believe that a person's worth should not be determined by their appearance.

Our mission is to create a world where people are judged by the content of their character, not the symmetry of their facial features or the number of chins they possess. We fight against "lookism" in all its forms.

Through education, advocacy, and our revolutionary "Beauty Tax" proposal, we aim to level the playing field and ensure that the genetically blessed no longer receive unfair advantages in life simply for winning the genetic lottery.

Join us in our fight for a more equitable world where everyone, regardless of how they look, has equal opportunities to succeed and thrive.

Our Key Initiatives

Bold policy proposals to create a more equitable society

Person wearing interview mask
Masked Job Interviews

We advocate for mandatory masked interviews across all industries to eliminate appearance-based bias in hiring. All job candidates would wear standardized masks during interviews, ensuring decisions are based solely on qualifications and skills.

Couple on blind date
Blind Dates Until Marriage

Inspired by the "Love Is Blind" model, we propose a revolutionary dating system where couples communicate without seeing each other until they're engaged. This ensures relationships are built on personality, values, and emotional connection rather than superficial appearance.

Free the Ugly Inmates

Our research reveals a disturbing correlation between unattractiveness and harsher sentencing in the criminal justice system. Unattractive defendants receive sentences 20% longer than attractive defendants for the same crimes.

FIRST INITIATIVE
Diverse actors on a movie set
Inclusive Hollywood Initiative

Our first major initiative aims to make Hollywood more inclusive for less attractive individuals. We want the next Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie to be ugly, advocating for appearance-blind casting, quotas for aesthetically diverse actors, and an end to beauty-based typecasting.
